This is the kind of meat I could buy in the late 70's to feed my family. We took it for granted. As meat quality fell, My husband quit eating many meat dinners preferring fast food for the last 46 years. (we've been married 49 years) I was not happy. It was gradually getting noticable that so many cuts had to be boiled to death in the crockpot- our new appliance back in the day. Meat became tough and flavorless. My husband at age 70 cannot stop saying "this is the best Lamb I've ever eaten!" (well he has a short memory LOL!) He usually tells me the sale meats (he grocery shops)not any more. now he smiles when I say I bought more from a really great reputable Rancher. Thank You- we are on a very tight budget- I feed us and our last 6 boys/men still home who have Down Syndrome. (we adopted 17 children now ages 17-49 and I birthed 4) Dinner is fun again with my oldest at home son age 30 declaring "mmmm smells good! I crave this lamb! The lamb that I got from Forager's Farm does not even compare to what I can get at my local grocery store. The meat is far more tender, flavorful and lacks that lamb overpowerig "mustiness" that sometimes can ruin a good roast. I ordered the 1/2 lamb bundle, and all the cuts were delicious and usable so there was no waste or packages that sat unused. And the customer service was excellent. I will order again, for sure.

If you haven’t tried Forager’s Farm’s lamb, you haven’t lived! I just slow-cooked an arm roast and leg shank, and it was earth-shaking… dare I say, mind-blowing. Fall-off-the-bone tender and packed with flavor. Some lamb can have a strong flavor in a bad way, but this was mild and absolutely delicious. And the dark, rich bone broth from the crockpot was literal liquid gold.
The best part? My kids (ages 2 and 5) devoured it, drank the broth, and even gnawed on the bones. You know it’s good when little kids fight over it! I’ve tried a lot of lamb, but no one has ever raised it so well that my kids would eat it—let alone fight over it.
Well done! Do yourself a favor and invest in a whole lamb to fill your freezer. You won’t be disappointed. Every cut we’ve had so far, my kids love because it’s so mild and delicious. I thought the lamb chops would take the cake, but that shank… wow!
oh and even the dog got his share of the bones when we were done.

Great product! The lamb is delicious. I am excited to find a good source of regeneratively raised, and sustainably sourced meat grown in Tennessee. I highly recommend it to anyone who is trying to be mindful of what they eat! I am glad to feed my family such a healthy, superfood!

of course we love It! Especially when they’re all cut up to parts, it’s going to be easy to make something. Even though we haven’t been able to get into it yet since we’re still in the sampler pack, we know it’s going to be real good!

I visited the Foragers Farm to buy some grassfed lamb and learn about sheep farming. Jordan is so kind and willing to share his knowledge, and the lamb is delicious! Will definitely be buying again.

Hands down the best tasting lamb! Our family cooked a leg roast in a curry during Christmas holidays. The meat was tender after a short simmer and had none of the funky sheep flavor you risk getting with 'grocery store lamb'.
