Answers to Questions You May Have
What are the health benefits of your Pasture-Crafted Lamb Meat?
Our 100% grass-fed lamb has a rich source of healthy fats, like omega-3 and CLA (conjugated linoleic acid), plus an excellent source of vitamin B-12, niacin, zinc, and a good source of iron.
Other farm's grain-fed lamb, especially if raised on glyphosate-sprayed GMO grains, can impact your gut health. Glyphosate can transfer from the lamb’s fat to your digestive system, reducing beneficial gut microbes and potentially leading to leaky gut, hormonal imbalances, and impaired brain health.
Do you use any antibiotics, vaccines or added hormones?
Here are our standards we do our best to uphold:
🍃100% grass, weed, and forb fed
🐑rotated on pastures
💉free of mRNA vaccines
🚫have no vaccinations
💊do not receive synthetic antibiotics
🥩are not dosed with artificial growth hormones
💧have access to fresh water
🌿we strive to keep things all natural around here, but if for some reason there is a lamb struggling with parasites, a dewormer medication may need to be administered and the lamb is kept back from being butchered for at least a month to ensure its naturally flushed out of its system and you get the highest quality of meat as possible.
How do you raise your animals?
Our grass-fed sheep graze on forbs and grass, giving you pasture-crafted, nutrient-rich meat, all thanks to our regenerative farming methods like rotational grazing.
What's the difference between grassfed and grain fed lamb?
According to scientist lambs grazing in pasture had 14% less fat and about 8% more protein compared to grain-fed lamb.
