Creamy Lamb Meat Loaf in a Cast Iron Pan

For a quick evening dish. Simple. Hearty. Creamy (duh). Delicious (duh again😜)

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. ground lamb
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 1 bell pepper chopped (optional)
  • 1 or 2 large eggs
  • salt & pepper
  • garlic powder
  • onion powder
  • paprika powder
  • ¼ cup heavy whipping cream or milk
  • ¼ cup sour cream or cottage cheese

Directions:

  1. Thaw ground meat
  2. Preheat oven to 350ºF
  3. Chop onion
  4. Chop bell pepper
  5. Throw it all in a mixing bowl
  6. Crack egg over the meat then sprinkle your desired amount of seasonings on
  7. Dump in a quarter cup of cream (more or less, it's up to you)
  8. Dollop another quarter cup of sour cream into the mix and stir it all up
  9. Once it's stirred up nicely, spread it out into your cast iron pan and bake for 15 to 20 minutes on 350ºF
  10. Viola, take it out and enjoy!
