PAN-SEARED LAMB CHOPS IN BUTTER
One of the best ways to eat some lamb, it’s easy, simple and won’t take much of your time.
Pairs well with rice, couscous, green beans, asparagus, or mashed potatoes.
Ingredients:
- 2 Lamb Loin Chops
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Prepare the Lamb: Pat the lamb chops dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt and pepper.
- Heat the Skillet: Heat a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat until it’s hot. Add the butter and let it melt completely.
- Sear the Lamb: Place the lamb chops in the skillet. Sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
- Rest the Meat: Remove from the skillet and let the lamb rest for 5-10 minutes to allow the juices to redistribute.
Tips:
- Use a meat thermometer to ensure the lamb reaches an internal temperature of 125-130°F for medium-rare.
- Spoon the melted butter over the lamb chops while they sear for extra flavor.
