Ingredients:
- 2 Lamb Loin Chops
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Prepare the Lamb: Pat the lamb chops dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt and pepper.
- Heat the Skillet: Heat a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat until it’s hot. Add the butter and let it melt completely.
- Sear the Lamb: Place the lamb chops in the skillet. Sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
- Rest the Meat: Remove from the skillet and let the lamb rest for 5-10 minutes to allow the juices to redistribute.
Tips:
- Use a meat thermometer to ensure the lamb reaches an internal temperature of 125-130°F for medium-rare.
- Spoon the melted butter over the lamb chops while they sear for extra flavor.
